Every morning at Tala Cafe begins with a ritual that's equal parts science and art. Our house blend isn't just coffee — it's the culmination of years of experimentation, countless tastings, and a deep respect for the farmers who grow our beans.
Sourcing the Beans
We work directly with farmers in the highlands of Davao, where the volcanic soil and high altitude create the perfect conditions for exceptional coffee. Our blend combines beans from three distinct farms, each contributing unique characteristics to the final cup.
The Roast Profile
Our roast master has spent years perfecting a medium roast that brings out the natural sweetness of the beans while preserving their complex flavor notes. We roast in small batches throughout the week to ensure peak freshness.
The Pour
Whether you order a pour-over, espresso, or cold brew, each preparation method is calibrated to showcase the blend's best qualities. Our baristas train extensively to maintain consistency while bringing their own artistry to every cup.
